Borderline Boy Fundraiser Drive

Dwight Knoll and I have been trying to get this website presentable and navigable for over a year now. However, for all our fiddling and referring to tutorials and consulting helpful sources, I eventually had to admit I needed professional help. I hired my friend Tania Harrison of Funnel’s Web Design to fix the site’s persistent display/navigation problems, and I’d say she’s done a good job. Things look and feel better around here, and the improvements should enhance your reading experience considerably.

Then it sunk in that I had spent $120 just to get the site presentable.

Borderline Boy is a huge investment of my time and energy, and right now, I need to focus my time and energy on things that are not putting me in the red, and I need to get Borderline Boy back to breaking even. This is where you come in! There are a number of ways you can help me to recoup from these expenses:

  • Donate using the Paypal button below or the button in the main site’s sidebar. Donors receive an early look at a full-color, large-sized strip.
  • Purchase original comic strips: Comics are available in the Pungirls store. Further information on the original artwork page.
  • Purchase a t-shirt: for the purposes of the donation drive, the proceeds from all shirt purchases at the Pungirls store will be counted against the $120 payment total. Shirts are only $12, and that includes the shipping costs.

Once expenses have been offset, I will be able to return to weekly updates. Additionally, as a way of saying thanks to everyone who participated in this fundraiser, my first strip back will be a full-color, oversized, Sunday-style comic. If you have regularly enjoyed the Borderline Boy comic, please consider helping to offset site development costs in whatever way you can. Every dollar counts!

Thanks for helping me to continue creating Borderline Boy. I appreciate your support.
