I agree, I keep waiting for the rumor to come true about the connection between all the FF’s and they just keep coming out with as you put it fan fic… The world needs new writers :}
And as much as I like video games and kind of like RPGs, I’ve never really played any of the Final Fantasy series (except Crystal Chronicles, but I’ve heard that doesn’t count). Some how I’ve just never been too intrigued.
…I guess I’m kind of a bad gamer. D: I don’t buy games too often and more often than not, I’m not tempted to go out and buy one just for the sake of having a new game. I’m more than content to play something I’ve beaten over and over again…like Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for the sixth or seventh time or the Logical Journey of the Zoombinis for the first time since I was 10-ish (that game rocks! ).
Sorry, I like using your comment section to jabber. Your strips just generate rambling thought processes like this! (By the way, I’m still undecided about your last strip if I like it or not…I’m torn between, “Hahaha, that’s hilarious” and “ew, that’s disgusting!”)
It’s okay–I’m actually a bad gamer too. The only games I ever play that aren’t over three years old are Mario Kart when my friend Ash brings his Wii over (hey Ash!) and…well, that’s pretty much it. I don’t own any of the current generation of consoles, I gravitate toward old-school impossible-to-beat NES and Genesis games, and like you, I play my old games to death before picking up anything new. I recently played through Mario 64 before putting my N64 system up for sale on ebay this afternoon, and the game was still just as fun as when I first got it.
And feel free to ramble in the comments whenever you like. It’s always good to hear that my comics are making people think.
I try not to do too many toilet-humor comics like the last one, but hanging out with Ash so often makes it hard not to come up with those kind of ideas. Ash, you are a bad influence!
