Not sure how I feel about this one Jackson, but I think that’s mostly topic-squeamishness, and it makes a really interesting point, so I’ve decided I like it.
Carl, truth be told, I’m topic-squeamish too. But somehow I felt that Vocal Gay Rights Supporter Girl needed to be given a voice–that I needed to allow her to express her opinion in the strip. Thanks for liking and linking my comic.
In that same spirit of differing opinions, I will share a remark that a friend of mine made, on the other side of this particular argument. You may evaluate it and decide for yourself what to make of it.
“People voluntarily make choices every day that completely ruin their lives. There are lots of arguments against homosexuality being a “choice,” but “who would choose to be persecuted?” isn’t one of them.”
It seems to me that most people who choose to become Christians in any number of middle-eastern countries acede to these things and more [i]voluntarily[/i]
